c. Hardy Banana Plants
d. Bromeliads
e. Century Plants
f. Palms
2. Soil less mix
3. Hand Tools
4. Pots
5. Watering Cans
GOALS:
1. To increase sensory awareness
2. To foster creative expression
OBJECTIVES:
1. Upon request, participants will touch, visualize and smell plant materials
2. Following demonstration, participants will make an aesthetically pleasing
assortment of potted tropical plants 90% of the time
PROCESS:
1. Arrange tropical plants on greenhouse table
2. Discuss how tropical plants become house plants
3. Have group handle the materials
4. Demonstrate how to pot-up plants
5. Have group pot-up plants
6. Water plants
7. Date & label
