Brief example, "Johnny is thinking of buying a Christmas
present for his favorite 4th grade teacher. He goes into a department
store and sees many items including perfume, lingerie, and other
items to show his love of his teacher. What kinds of presents
do you think is OK for Johnny to buy for his teach?"
Description: Share with
the group a description or a picture/drawing of a social situation
in a story format. Invite the participants to respond with their
thoughts on what they might do in such a situation. Allow the
group to discuss openly without judgement and guide them to
discover what is right and wrong. Reinforce the discovery of
right choices. |
